Kindred Kids is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit adaptive equipment lending library created specifically to meet the needs of children with disabilities.  We believe in the possibilities of every child and that given the necessary resources, they can and will grow to their best potential.

Our Volunteers

Kindred Kids, Inc. is operated completely by volunteers, from the creation and maintenance of our website and social media, to the operation of our lending library and at our volunteer events. Learn more about volunteering here!

Equipment

Kindred Kids accepts donations of gently used, nonspecific adaptive equipment to be added to our possibilities library. The library is available to any child with a disability and their family members. Learn more about donating and borrowing here.

What are your hours of operation?

Currently, we are by appointment only. Please contact us via phone or text at (608) 438-5844 or through email at [email protected].  After we receive your inquiry, we will contact you to set up an appointment.  

What is the fee for borrowing equipment? 

Kindred Kids lending library loans equipment to children and families for free. We accept donations to keep the lending library running. Everyone will be welcomed regardless of their ability to make a donation.

How can I support Kindred Kids ? 

There are three ways to support Kindred Kids:

  1. Equipment donations – We accept donations of durable medical equipment or any other items that would be used by a child with a disability. If you are unsure, call us! We would love to talk about how your items can help our library grow.
  2. Financial donations – You can donate anytime through our PayPal or via mail. Checks can be made out to Kindred Kids and mailed to:

What items do you accept for donations? 

We accept donations of durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, standers, bathing/toileting equipment, etc.) or any other items that would be used by a child with special needs. We would love to talk to you about how your items can help our library grow.
